Swimming pool Bad Buiten

If you’re looking for a nice place to chill near the water, I can recommend Bad Buiten.

Bad Buiten is a floating swimmingpool in the river de Amstel. This makes it so unique and worthwhile visiting. The swimming pool itself is very small, so it’s just to cool off and take a small dip. Next to the pool there is a huge bar and many places to chill and have a couple of drinks. The menu is OK; they have all sorts of soda, cold beer and some very nice snacks. All you need for a relaxing day in Amsterdam.

The entrance is € 5,- per person, you can change clothes and afterwards you can use the shower of course. I have to mention that the shower and bathroom were out of order when I visisted Bad Buiten, but restaurant Kaap Kot is next door and we were able to use their facilities.

The view at Bad Buiten is stunning, boats are passing by while the Amsterdam skyline draws your attention. The water of the Amstel in combination with the luxurious swimming pool makes this place worth recommended.
