WERCK is the former coach house of the Westerkerk Church, right in the heart of the Jordaan quarter. Next to the Anne Frank’s House.

This restaurant has a fantastic terrace, two actually. A terrace on the ground floor to have drinks from the Rum Runners Bar for example. The second terrace is on the roof, you can have dinner here. Inside the restaurant is very trendy and multifunctional. On fridays and saturday’s after 23:00 the dj’s starts playing groovy sounds and Werck turns into a nice club. So an ideal place to visit, isn’t it?!

With it’s all wooden furniture Werck has a chique and modern atmosphere. When you’re on the upper terrace having your drink or dinner you can enjoy the sun till 8pm. The people who visit Werck are mostly youngsters.

This restaurant has a very extensive menu. You can choose from eight different starters, five salads and a few warm starters. The main course has a famous Chateaubriand which you’ll have to eat with two persons. The pasta of the week was the spaghetti with gambas, this was a delicious main course and very recommended!

Because of the two big terraces and spacious restaurant inside you can also visit Werck with groups.  Overall this restaurant is a good place to have your drink and dinner in the evening sun. And if you’re in the mood have a little dance afterwards.
