Love Italian food and want to be surprised and spoiled? Italian Restaurant Pomorosso, located in de Pijp, opened its doors in September 2011 and has become more and more popular ever since.

The chefs, all Italian, succeed in their effort by making traditional and delicious Italian dishes with fresh ingredients. Therefor the menu has a good variety of starters, primi piatti, secondi piatti and desserts.

If you have dinner with 2 or more, I would definitely recommend the ‘grande antipasto Pomorosso’ as a starter. This is a delicious selection of fresh seafood, ham, cheese, vegetables and bruschetta’s!
If you like truffle, try the ravioli tartufati as your primi piatti. For meat lovers, the tagliata alla Pomorosso is an excellent choice for your secondi piatti. Of course there are also second courses with fish on the menu.
For a dessert, Pomorosso is famous for its fresh homemade lemon pie with vanilla sauce. But also the tiramisu is one of the best I ever had.
The variety of wines Pomorosso offers, is quite narrow, but they all taste good with the selected dishes.

The dishes vary between 8 – 22 euro and bottles of wines cost between 18 –38 euro.
Taken into account the dishes are only prepared with fresh ingredients of a high quality, the price vs quality level is high.

All of the personnel is Italian, and all make sure you enjoy your dinner and have nothing to worry about during your evening.

The restaurant doesn’t look that inviting from the outside, but the inside is typical Italian.
And based on my experience, this is definitely a restaurant I recommend, as it’s one of the best Italians in town.

The restaurant is located in the centre of Amsterdam (de Pijp- area) and easy accessible by tram 16 or 24 from Central Station
