Every city has its hidden culinary secrets; Tasca Bellota is one of them in Amsterdam. This Spanish tapas restaurant is situated in the centre of Amsterdam in the so called ‘9 streets quarter’. The restaurant has just a few tables, so you have to make a reservation to be sure to have a table here. The staff is Spanish and the service is very warm and friendly. When entering this cozy restaurant we ordered some Spanish wine and looked through the menu. They serve fresh fish, meat paella or the famous tapas dishes off course. A tapas course is between 5 (sardines) and 16 euro (Pata Negra). The wine menu is also excellent, great wines for normal prices. After trying several tapas, we ended the diner with a lovely deserts and typical Spanish liqueurs. The bill was 140 euro for three persons, it was worth every penny!
