Movie theatre Cinecenter is one of the better cinemas in Amsterdam. It’s located opposite the Melkweg just off Leidsesquare.
Movie theatre Cinecenter is a small venue with a bar, one ticket sales point and 5 cinemas. Movie theatre Cinecenter offers you a wide range of arthouse non – hollywood movies, mostly European. If you want to see a movie first check the native language in the film because the subtitles are of course dutch. The atmosphere in Movie theatre Cinecenter is nice so I always arrive on the early side so I can get a ticket fairly easily (sometimes lines can be long!) and have a drink. You can take your beverage along with you into the cinema. Movie theatre Cinecenter does have a wide choice of snacks but it’s not possible to have dinner here.
