This place opened its doors in the summer of 2011 and is the summer hotspot. The location is ideal for people cruising around in their boats. Of course Hannekes Boom is also accessible by car / bike / public transport. It is located next to the Central Station.

The menu is relatively small, but ideal for a sunny afternoon to accompany your beers or wines. When you’re outside you have a good view over the IJ.

This is a typical no-nonsense place to hang-out with your friends, the price level is normal for a trendy bar and the quality is as it should be. With its wooden build up it looks a little like a tree house. Beers cost about 2,50 and wines about 3,-. The lunch plates are about 10,-. So if you visit Amsterdam during the summer, visit Hannekes Boom!
